# Cancel your subscription (/platform/account/cancel)



You can cancel any time from your account; you don't need to contact support. Cancelling turns off auto-renewal: you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again unless you subscribe again.

## Cancel in the app [#cancel-in-the-app]

    Sign in and open the **Plan & Credits** page of your account ([app.luxalgo.com/account/plan](https://app.luxalgo.com/account/plan)).

    On your current plan card, select **Cancel subscription**.

    On a monthly plan, the first screen offers a 1- or 2-month pause instead; select **Cancel Auto-Renewal** to continue. Pick a reason and select **Next**. If you're offered a pause or a discount to stay, select **Decline** to continue.

    Select **Cancel Subscription Auto-Renewal**. The next screen confirms the cancellation.

Your plan card then shows **Cancelling** and the date your access ends.

## After you cancel [#after-you-cancel]

* You keep full access until the end of the paid period, and you won't be charged again.
* To change your mind, select **Undo Cancellation** on the plan card any time before the period ends. Switching to another plan also removes the cancellation.
* When the period ends, your account moves to the Free plan: monthly credits drop to the Free allowance, strategy alerts are paused and their webhooks switched off, and TradingView toolkit access and Discord plan roles are removed. Your workspaces and setups stay saved.
* To come back later, choose a plan under **Plan & Credits** or on [luxalgo.com/pricing](https://www.luxalgo.com/pricing/) while signed in to the same account. A plan that's no longer sold can't be reactivated once cancelled.

Cancelling doesn't issue a refund; see [Refunds](/platform/account/refunds). It doesn't delete your account either: account deletion is handled by support at [support@luxalgo.com](mailto:support@luxalgo.com).

## Pause instead [#pause-instead]

A monthly plan can be paused for 1 or 2 months; the option appears when you start a cancellation. While paused, billing stops and paid features are unavailable. Your saved work is kept, and billing resumes automatically when the pause ends. To resume early, select **Resume Subscription** on the plan card. Yearly and gifted plans can't be paused.

## Gifted plans [#gifted-plans]

A gifted plan can't be cancelled, paused, or changed. It ends automatically at the end of the gifted term.
