## Edit your profile [#edit-your-profile]

Open [Profile](https://app.luxalgo.com/account/profile) and choose **Edit profile**. Update your name, upload or change your photo, or choose **Remove** to clear it. Press **Save** to apply the changes across LuxAlgo.

## Two-factor authentication [#two-factor-authentication]

If you sign in with an email and password, add an authenticator app as a second sign-in step:

1. Open [Security](https://app.luxalgo.com/account/security). Under **Authenticator app**, choose **Turn on** and confirm your password.
2. Scan the QR code with an app such as Google Authenticator, 1Password, or Authy, or enter the setup key manually.
3. Enter the app's six-digit code to finish turning on two-factor authentication.
4. **Copy** or **Download** your backup codes and keep them somewhere safe. They are shown only once.

At sign-in, enter your authenticator code or choose **Use a backup code instead**. Each backup code works once. **Trust this device for 30 days** lets that device skip the code step during that period.

In Security, **New backup codes** replaces the previous set after you confirm your password. **Turn off** also requires your password.

## Change your password [#change-your-password]

In [Security](https://app.luxalgo.com/account/security), choose **Change** beside **Password**. Enter your current password and a new password, then **Change password**. This signs you out on every other device.

If you sign in only through Google, Facebook, or Discord, manage your password and two-factor authentication with that provider.
