# Panels (/platform/workspaces/panels)



Panels are widgets that sit alongside the charts in a [workspace](/platform/workspaces), independent of any single chart, but saved and [shared](/platform/workspaces#share) with the workspace like everything else in it.

Open **Panels** in the header to toggle them on and off. Your panel arrangement autosaves with the workspace, and workspace sharing has a **Panels** scope if you want to hand someone your setup.

The [Journal](/platform/workspaces/journal) is a separate header button, next to **Panels**. It is not a workspace panel: trades and notes follow your account.

The [watchlist](/platform/workspaces/watchlist) is the panel you can use today — a [docked](/platform/workspaces/watchlist) list beside the chart, or [Advanced view](/platform/workspaces/watchlist/advanced) for the full table. More widgets will land in this rail.
