# Advanced view (/platform/workspaces/watchlist/advanced)



**Advanced view** (maximize) from the [docked panel](/platform/workspaces/watchlist) replaces the terminal with the full watchlist. The same list, add, rename, and delete controls sit in the header. **Return to chart** puts the [panel](/platform/workspaces/panels) back.

Click a symbol to load it on the [active chart](/platform/charts/introduction#layouts) and close Advanced view.

## Summary [#summary]

Five metrics lead the page when the list has symbols:

* **Symbols** — count, with a mini breakdown by asset class
* **Breadth (24h)** — share of names that are up, with up / down / flat counts
* **Avg 24h % change**
* **Best 24h** and **Worst 24h** — the day's extremes on this list (best is not always a gainer)

An empty list just asks you to add symbols.

## Price, Financials, and News [#price-financials-and-news]

The table has three tabs.

**Price** is market data: symbol and name, price, change, change %, volume, market cap, sector, and a 52-week range.

**Financials** is company data: revenue, net income, EPS, P/E, dividend per share, yield, and beta, with year-over-year growth where it exists.

**News** is a headline feed for the symbols on the list. Filter to specific names with **Symbols**, or search headlines. **Load more** pages the feed.

Search (the magnifying glass) filters the open tab. On Price and Financials it is **Filter symbols…**; on News it is **Filter headlines…**.

**Group by** clusters Price and Financials rows by **Asset type**, **Sector**, **Exchange**, **Currency**, or your own **[Sections](#sections)**. **Jump to** scrolls to a group header. Those groupings except Sections are a view only — they are not saved.

Column headers sort. The filter on a header narrows by number (≥ / ≤) or by a checklist. The Symbol filter can also hide asset types. The gear shows or hides columns and **Reset column order**; drag a column grip to rearrange. That order is saved with the workspace.

Hover a row for **Remove**. Drag a row to reorder.

Right-click a row for:

* **Replace** — swap that symbol through Symbol Search
* **Go to chart**
* **Add to watchlist** — copy it onto another of your lists
* **Add section** — start a section from this row downward
* **Add symbol**

## Sections [#sections]

**Group by → Sections** is the only grouping you own. Unsectioned symbols stay at the top. A section header collapses or expands, renames in place, and removes — **Remove section** drops the heading, the symbols stay on the list.

Right-click **Add section** to create one from that row down. New sections are named **New section**, then **New section 2**, and so on.

You can drag symbols between sections. Sections save with the list; they are not only a view.

## Allocation [#allocation]

**Asset allocation** is a donut by asset class (Stocks, ETFs, Crypto, Forex, Commodities) with a 24-hour change breakdown under it.

**Sector exposure** does the same for stocks and ETFs by sector. It stays empty until the list has equities.

  Sector, market cap, 52-week range, and financials come from public company data and are available for stocks. ETFs are grouped as their own bucket: the data reports a fund's issuer, not its holdings.
