Lux Algo Premium Alerts

Options for setting alerts on Lux Algo in TradingView.

The Lux Algo Premium indicator has various alert conditions based on each signal mode included in the indicator. Once you are comfortable with our signal terminology you should be able to understand what each of these alerts does, however, some confusion can still exist with some of them, these are explained below.

Don't use the "Only Use Real Closing Prices" setting when setting an alert, you might encounter bugs.

Confirmation Signals All In One

The confirmation signals all in one alert condition has been specially implemented for free users who can't set multiple alerts and will trigger for any confirmation signal.

This alert condition allows to both see if a confirmation signal is either buy or sell, and if it is strong or normal, this information can be obtained by interpreting the alert message that appears once the alert is gathered.

A direction of 1 indicates that the signal is a confirmation buy signal, while a direction of -1 indicates that the signal is a confirmation sell signal. If strong is equal to 0, it means the signal was a normal one, while if strong is equal to 1, it means the signal was a strong one.

This alert condition is also useful to see when a confirmation signal has occurred, regardless if its a buy/sell strong/normal signal.

Contrarian Signals All In One

Like the "confirmation signals all in one", this alert condition aims to tell you if a contrarian signal is either buy or sell without having to set a contrarian buy and contrarian sell separately.

Like with the confirmation all in one mode, a buy or sell signal is represented by the value shown in Direction, with a direction equal to indicating a contrarian buy signal and a direction of -1 indicating a contrarian sell signal.

This alert condition is also useful to see when a contrarian signal has occurred, regardless if its a buy/sell signal.

Normal Buy Turn Strong

The normal buy turn strong alert condition triggers an alert once a previous normal buy signal is considered strong. You can see when such alert would have occurred by looking at the candle colors when the confirmation candle color mode is enabled, with a normal buy turning strong when the color of the candle is green while the preceding candle color is purple.

Normal Sell Turn Strong

Like with the normal buy turn strong alert the normal sell turn strong alert condition triggers an alert once a previous normal sell signal is considered strong. Such alert would be triggered when a candle color is red while the preceding candle color mode is purple.

Any Signal

The Any Signal alert condition will trigger for any kind of signal occurring, this includes: normal/strong buy/sell confirmation and buy/sell contrarian signals
