How it fits together
The platform is layered: in Vela, a workspace is your saved setup, charts live inside it, and Quant operates on whichever chart is active.
- Workspaces: your saved setup. It holds charts, layout, drawings, indicators, and panels like the watchlist. Everything autosaves, and a workspace can be shared as a copy. The Journal sits beside that setup and keeps trades on your account.
- Charts: symbols, timeframes, multi-chart layouts, drawings, indicators, and native order flow (footprint and TPO chart types, volume profiles, and delta tools).
- Data: LuxAlgo market data. Crypto, US equities, forex, and commodities on every plan, including Free; live CME futures on every paid plan. Candles everywhere, plus order-flow footprints on crypto, US equities, and CME futures. No exchange accounts or API keys needed.
- Quant: our coding agent. It writes and repairs indicator and strategy code for the active chart, working from a written request or a screenshot, and backtests strategies against the chart's history. The code is real Pine Script® you can inspect and edit, and it runs on LuxAlgo through PineTS, our open-source runtime.
Strategy Screener
Strategy Screener, previously called the AI Backtesting Assistant, sits beside Quant on LuxAlgo. Use it to find strategies built from LuxAlgo toolkit conditions and inspect their backtests. It shares Quant's credit balance.
Strategy Alerts send live notifications for Strategy Screener strategies. Alert allowances depend on your plan; webhook automation is included with Premium, Ultimate, and AI Ultra.
