Drawings
Draw on the chart: toolbar groups, magnet snapping, and the radial wheel.
The left toolbar holds the drawing tools, grouped by purpose: Lines, Fibonacci, Patterns, Measurements, Shapes, Text, and Icons. To log a fill or a day note at a spot on the chart, use Add trade on chart or Add note on chart in the Journal column header: the next click on the chart opens the entry instead of leaving a drawing.
Drawings are anchored in time and price, not in screen pixels: they stay attached to the same bars and levels when you pan, zoom, or change timeframe. They belong to the active chart and are saved with the workspace, so they're still there when you come back.
Pick a tool
Choose a tool from the left toolbar, or hold Alt for the radial wheel of your favorites. On a phone, tap + in the bottom bar, then Drawings. Common line tools also have direct shortcuts: Alt+T trend line, Alt+H horizontal line, Alt+V vertical line.
Place it on the chart
Click the chart to set the tool's anchor points: a horizontal line takes one click, a trend line two. Hold Shift while drawing a line to lock its angle to 45° increments. With Magnet on, anchors snap to nearby OHLC values instead of landing between prices.
Adjust or remove
Switch back to Cursor to select a drawing and drag it (or its anchor points) around. Middle-click a drawing to delete it, use the Eraser to click or drag away several, or manage everything at once from the Object tree.
Toolbar controls
Beyond the tools themselves, the toolbar carries the controls that change how drawing behaves:

To export an image of your chart or a selected portion, use Screenshots on the right-hand rail. Capture area for Quant sends chart context with a prompt instead.
Magnet is worth turning on whenever your drawings should sit on exact prices (support lines on a candle close, Fibonacci anchors on a swing high/low). The two strengths control how aggressively anchors get pulled to OHLC values.
Fib Retracement measures the pullback from the point you place last: level 0 sits on the second anchor and level 1 on the first. To flip it, turn on Reverse in the drawing's settings. Retracements drawn before this change keep their original layout.
Toolbar groups open on hover, and their menus sit flush against the toolbar, so you can slide straight to a tool.
Stay in drawing mode changes the default one-shot behavior. Normally placing a drawing returns you to the cursor; with this on, the tool stays armed, which is useful when marking up many levels in one pass.
Drawing settings
The gear on a drawing's toolbar, or a double-click on the drawing, opens one settings panel with everything about it: its look, its own options (such as a Fib's levels or a position's account size), its label, the price and time of each point, and the timeframes it shows on. Options appear only where they apply, and Cancel puts the drawing back as it was. The chart stays usable behind the panel.
- Tools remember their settings. A tool's colors, widths, text style and options carry over to the next drawing you make with it, and they are saved with the workspace, so they survive a reload.
- Named styles. Save a drawing's look as a style and apply it to any drawing of the same tool in one click, with a preview on hover. Line and area tools come with ready-made styles.
- Timeframe visibility. Limit a drawing to chosen timeframes, such as intraday only or 1H and up. Charts on other timeframes hide it.
- Trend lines can extend past either point to the edge of the chart, with the label at the start, middle or end.
- Fib retracement offers Classic, Extension and OTE level sets, and Fibs, Gann tools and Mach figures list every level with its on/off, ratio and color.
- Price action tools. The Fibonacci group's Price Action section holds Fair Value Gap, Order Block and Liquidity. Click a candle and each finds its zone or level and runs right until the event you choose, such as tested, filled, broken or swept.
The radial wheel
Hold Alt with the chart focused and a radial picker of your favorite drawing tools opens around the cursor. Pick a tool without travelling to the toolbar and without memorizing a shortcut per tool. Your hand never leaves the chart.
The wheel shows the tools you have favorited, so it's worth curating: keep it to the handful you actually reach for, and the selection stays a single flick of the mouse.
Cursor is always on the wheel, pinned at the bottom (6 o'clock), even after you star other tools. A straight-down flick returns you to select/idle — the same as the toolbar's Cursor button — so you never lose the way back.
The wheel complements the fixed shortcuts rather than replacing them: Alt+T / Alt+H / Alt+V are still fastest for trend, horizontal, and vertical lines. Use the wheel for everything else you use often: Fibonacci, boxes, annotations. See Shortcuts for the full list.
Measure without leaving the keyboard
The Measure tool draws a transient ruler: click two points and it reports the distance between them, then disappears on the next click. Shift+click an empty spot on the chart starts a measurement instantly, without selecting the tool first.
Manage drawings
Right-click the chart and choose Hide drawings to temporarily hide its drawings without deleting them. Use the same control again to bring them back. The chart menu only shows Remove drawings when there is something to remove.
Open the Object tree from the bottom of the right-hand panel rail to see every drawing and indicator on the chart as a single list. From there you can:
- Show/hide a drawing without deleting it
- Lock it so a stray click can't move it. A drag that starts on a locked drawing pans the chart; a click still selects it, so you can unlock it from its toolbar
- Reorder what draws on top of what
- Remove it
On a touch screen, a swipe that starts on a drawing you haven't selected scrolls the chart. Tap a drawing to select it, then drag it with a finger. The phone's bottom-bar sheets close with their ✕.
To copy your markup across every cell in a multi-chart layout, enable Sync drawings on all charts on the toolbar. Each cell gets the same drawings, kept in sync as you edit.
Drawings by Quant
When you ask Quant to analyze the chart, it marks levels and zones as regular drawings with labels. They land locked, so a stray drag can't move a level Quant measured. Unlock one from its toolbar to move or edit it like your own, or delete it. A label follows its drawing when you move it.
While a chart holds any of Quant's drawings, Clear Quant's drawings appears on it. Click it to remove all of Quant's drawings from that chart at once. Your own drawings stay, and undo brings Quant's back.
